Obesity is one of the most significant health issues facing the UK population today with 64% of adults being classed as overweight or obese.
Obese people take more time off work (both short and long term) because of associated health conditions, their productivity decreases, and they are more likely to suffer from issues such as back problems or sleep apnoea. The course aims educate individuals on looking after themselves and to change their long-term behaviour.
